Rattlesnake Calathea is a member of the prayer plant family. The dramatic patterned leaves grow from a central cluster. As the plant matures, it will send additional shoots out to fill out the pot and become a clump of small plants.
Give this plant indirect light or bright shade; direct sunlight will cause burnt crispy patches on the leaves. Water regularly and ensure this plant is not allowed to dry out, or leaves may become damaged or die off. This plant loves extra humidity.
