Oxalis is a fun plant to grow. Bright purple shamrock-shaped leaves are delicately perched on top of tiny, twisty stems. This plant will continuously produce new leaves, but the plant will need maintenance to trim older leaves as they die off. Mature Oxalis will grow many tiny flowers throughout the summer.
Trim back leggy growth in December or January and move the plant to a colder, darker location to allow it 4-6 weeks of rest time. Don't worry if all the leaves die off - this is normal, as Oxalis needs about a month to hibernate before bouncing back for a new growing season. New growth will start once watering resumes.

Pro-Mix & perlite soil mixture - do not repot for 2-4 years. This plant has delicate roots and does not tend to outgrow its pot very quickly. When you repot, you can separate the oxalis bulbs into individual pots.
